The Guest Service Associate - Bar is responsible for delivering exceptional bar service to guests at the hotel's signature

. The role involves ensuring a memorable guest experience through professional service, product knowledge, and adherence to 5-star hospitality standards while maintaining the highest levels of hygiene, safety, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Guest Service & Experience
Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a high standard of personalized service at all times.
Take beverage and food orders accurately and serve promptly in line with service standards.
Recommend cocktails, beverages, and menu items based on guest preferences.
Handle guest queries, feedback, and minor complaints efficiently and courteously.
Maintain a professional, friendly, and attentive presence to enhance the guest experience.
Bar Operations
Assist bartenders in bar setup, service, and closing procedures.
Ensure the bar, tables, and service areas are clean, well-stocked, and presentable.
Follow standard operating procedures for service, billing, and cash handling.
Support upselling and promotional activities to maximize revenue.
Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and responsible service practices.
Hygiene & Safety
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene as per hotel and statutory guidelines.
Adhere to food safety, fire safety, and health & safety policies.
Ensure proper handling and storage of beverages and glassware.
Team Coordination
Work closely with bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Attend briefings and training sessions as scheduled.
Support colleagues during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Desired Candidate Profile:Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality (preferred).
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in bar service or F&B service, preferably in a
4-star or 5-star hotel
or premium resto bar.
Skills & Competencies:
Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, spirits, and bar service standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pleasant personality with a guest-focused attitude.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Team player with a positive and professional approach.
