Job Description

Operational Responsibilities

Supervise daily bar operations and ensure smooth service. Prepare and serve beverages as per standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area at all times. Ensure setup of the bar before service and proper closing procedures after service. Monitor beverage stock levels and coordinate with the store for requisitions. Ensure all beverages are garnished, presented, and served up to brand standards.

Guest Service

Welcome guests warmly and ensure exceptional service. Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally. Recommend beverages, upsell cocktails, mocktails, and premium brands. Ensure timely service and guest satisfaction at all times.

Team Leadership

Supervise and guide bartenders, barbacks, and service staff. Conduct on-the-job training for team members on beverage knowledge and service standards. Allocate duties and monitor staff performance. Ensure team discipline, grooming, and adherence to SOPs.

Inventory & Cost Control

Monitor daily consumption and control wastage. Assist in monthly inventory and stock-taking. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of beverages. Maintain breakage records and report discrepancies.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. Maintain compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies. Ensure all equipment is in working condition and report maintenance needs.
