Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and vendors.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize revenue while maintaining client satisfaction.
2. Event Coordination & Management
Collaborate with operations, catering, and service teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
Oversee event planning from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
Ensure client requirements are accurately communicated and executed.
Monitor event budgets and ensure profitability.
3. Marketing & Promotion
Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract banquet bookings.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Represent the hotel or venue at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
4. Reporting & Administration
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Maintain accurate client databases and follow-up records.
Track revenue, bookings, and client feedback for continuous improvement.
5. Team Leadership
Lead and motivate the banquet sales team to achieve targets.
Conduct training sessions for team members on sales techniques and customer service.
Foster a professional, client-focused, and results-driven work environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
3-7 years of experience in banquet/event sales, preferably in hotels, resorts, or large venues.
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Knowledge of event planning, catering operations, and hospitality industry standards.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and sales software.
