Sales and client management
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for banquets and events.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individuals.
Conduct site inspections and provide tours of banquet facilities.
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and event details.
Follow up with clients to address concerns and secure commitments.
Collaborate with various hotel departments, including the kitchen, food and beverage, and operations, to ensure the seamless execution of events.
Coordinate event logistics, such as room setup, menus, and audio-visual requirements.
Meet and greet clients upon arrival to review arrangements and introduce them to staff.
Oversee event execution to ensure client specifications are met and guest satisfaction is high.
Conduct post-event follow-up to ensure a positive experience and encourage repeat bookings.
Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Maintain client information and sales correspondence databases.
Process reservations and manage event bookings in the reservation system.
Complete and maintain departmental reports and records.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively sell against them.
