Job Summary :

The Banquet Sales Coordinator will be a key support to the hotel's sales and catering department, focusing on maximizing banquet revenue and client satisfaction. This position involves handling administrative tasks, acting as a liaison between clients and internal departments, and ensuring the successful planning and execution of events from initial inquiry to final billing. Key Responsibilities

Respond to incoming inquiries for banquet and catering events. Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Prepare and present detailed proposals, contracts, and event timelines. Coordinate with other departments, such as catering, operations, and front desk, to ensure all client requirements are met. Act as the main point of contact for clients leading up to and during events. Update the banquet and catering sales calendar, sales reports, and CRM software accurately. Assist with up-selling services and accurately forecasting revenue for banquet and group room events. Handle the administrative and logistical aspects of event planning, from initial booking to post-event follow-up. Maintain a high standard of customer service and professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications and Skills :



High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in hotel sales, event planning, or a related customer service role is highly desirable. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously. Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and sales/catering software (e.g., CRM). A proactive, goal-oriented, and "can-do" attitude is essential for success in a sales-focused environment.
