Job Summary: A banquet coordinator organizes and manages events such as parties, weddings, and conferences, handling everything from client communication and event planning to vendor management and staff supervision. Key responsibilities include understanding client needs, preparing event proposals and timelines, coordinating with caterers, florists, and decorators, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, managing event budgets, overseeing setup and breakdown, and providing excellent customer service. Essential skills for a banquet coordinator include strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and resolve problems effectively.
