Role Overview
The Banking & Finance Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to students, new recruits, and working professionals in the banking and financial services sector. The trainer will leverage practical knowledge, industry experience, and effective teaching methodologies to enhance learners' understanding of core banking operations, financial products, regulatory compliance, and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, Develop & Deliver Training Modules:
Prepare and deliver structured training sessions covering banking operations, products, and services (Retail, Corporate, Digital Banking, etc.), NBFC operations, lending, financial products, regulatory guidelines (RBI, SEBI, etc.), compliance practices, risk management, KYC/AML, fraud prevention, and customer relationship management. The trainer ensures content is practical, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
Conduct Training Programs:
Lead classroom, virtual, and on-the-job sessions, ensuring clarity and engagement. Use real-life examples and interactive exercises to help participants understand and apply concepts effectively.
Develop Training Content:
Create engaging materials such as presentations, manuals, case studies, and practical exercises. Keep the content updated with changes in industry practices, products, and regulatory requirements.
Engage & Present Effectively:
Utilize strong presentation and facilitation skills to make sessions interactive. Encourage active participation through discussions, Q&A sessions, and role plays to enhance learner involvement.
Mentor & Guide Learners:
Provide guidance through case studies, role plays, and hands-on exercises to reinforce learning and ensure participants develop practical skills that can be applied in real work scenarios.
Assess Learners:
Evaluate participants' understanding and progress through tests, assignments, and feedback sessions. Identify areas where learners need additional support and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with Management:
Work closely with management and department heads to understand skill requirements and align training objectives with organizational goals. Customize training solutions to address specific business needs.
Ensure Training Quality:
Maintain high standards of training delivery, ensure sessions are engaging, and track the effectiveness of programs to continuously improve learning outcomes.
Qualification adn skills required:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Banking, Finance, Commerce, or related field. Additional certifications such as
CAIIB, JAIIB, MBA Finance, or NCFM
are preferred.
Retired banker
with substantial exposure across multiple banking functions .
Minimum 3+ years
of professional experience in
Banking / NBFC sector.
Strong knowledge of banking products, financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and customer service practices.
Excellent presentation,
communication, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Ability to simplify complex banking concepts and engage learners of varying experience levels.
Proficiency in MS Office.
