Job Description

We are looking for a creative and skilled Banarasi Saree Textile Designer to design traditional and contemporary Banarasi sarees. The role involves working closely with weavers and production teams to create high-quality, authentic designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Banarasi sarees (motifs, borders, pallus, color combinations) Develop new designs based on trends and client requirements Coordinate with weavers and artisans for design execution Check samples and ensure quality and design accuracy Requirements:
Knowledge of Banarasi saree designs and weaving techniques Degree/Diploma in Textile or Fashion Design preferred Experience in handloom or Banarasi textiles is an advantage Creativity, attention to detail, and good communication skills. Textile & Design Software
Adobe Illustrator - motif design, borders, pallus, repeat patterns Adobe Photoshop - color correction, texture simulation, design presentations Textile CAD Software (any of the following): NedGraphics Textronics Pointcarre WeavePoint TukaCAD (Textile modules) Jacquard Design Software - for graphing and loom-ready designs Weaving & Technical Tools
Graph Paper / Digital Graphing Tools - for traditional Banarasi motifs AutoCAD (basic) - layout planning and technical references (optional) Experience:
3-5 years of experience preferred Freshers with strong design skills may apply
