to join our Intensive Care Unit team. The candidate will be responsible for providing round-the-clock patient care in the ICU, assisting senior consultants, monitoring critical patients, and ensuring proper medical management under established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide
continuous medical care
to ICU patients, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, and maintaining treatment protocols.
Assist ICU consultants and specialists in patient management and emergency procedures.
Perform timely clinical assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and update case sheets.
Manage
emergency situations
, including CPR, ventilator care, and stabilization of critical patients.
Coordinate with nursing staff and paramedical teams to ensure smooth ICU functioning.
Communicate effectively with patient attendants regarding condition updates (as per hospital policy).
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, medical ethics, and patient safety protocols.
Participate in ICU ward rounds, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
- mandatory.
Valid registration with the respective state medical council.
Prior experience in
ICU / Emergency / Critical Care
will be preferred.
Basic knowledge of ICU equipment, emergency protocols, and patient monitoring.
Ability to handle pressure situations with sound clinical judgment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Conditions:
