Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - BAMS Doctor (Clinic)
Job Summary:
The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) with a BAMS degree will provide comprehensive Ayurvedic medical care and treatment to patients visiting the clinic. They will play a pivotal role in diagnosing illnesses, devising personalized treatment plans, and delivering Ayurvedic therapies to promote patients' health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Consultation and Diagnosis:
Conduct thorough patient consultations, gather medical histories, and perform relevant physical examinations.
Utilize Ayurvedic diagnostic principles to assess patients' conditions and identify imbalances.
Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans based on Ayurvedic knowledge and principles.
Ayurvedic Treatment:
Administer Ayurvedic treatments, therapies, and interventions as per the patient's individualized treatment plan.
Provide guidance on Ayurvedic lifestyle modifications, dietary changes, and wellness practices.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans based on improvements or changes in their conditions.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient histories, diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping for future reference and continuity of care.
Patient Education:
Educate patients about Ayurvedic concepts, their health conditions, and the rationale behind prescribed treatments.
Offer guidance on incorporating Ayurvedic principles into daily routines for improved well-being.
Collaboration and Referrals:
Collaborate with other healthcare providers when necessary, coordinating patient care and facilitating referrals to specialists.
Participate in interdisciplinary discussions to enhance patient outcomes through a holistic approach.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Adhere to clinic policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of patient care.
Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
Emergency Response:
Respond to medical emergencies within the clinic's capacity, stabilizing patients and initiating appropriate Ayurvedic interventions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from a recognized institution.
Valid state medical council registration.
Skills and Competencies:
Profound understanding of Ayurvedic principles, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies.
Strong communication skills for effective patient interactions and education.
