Job Title: Classical Ballet Dance Faculty

Job Summary:

The Classical Ballet Dance Faculty member is responsible for providing high-quality ballet instruction to students at various levels, fostering technical proficiency, artistic growth, and an understanding of classical ballet traditions. This role includes curriculum development, student mentorship, and participation in performances and institutional events.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach classical ballet technique classes to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

Design syllabi and lesson plans aligned with institutional curriculum standards.

Instruct and coach students in pointe work, variations, pas de deux, and repertoire.

Prepare students for performances, assessments, and potential auditions or competitions.

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and evaluations.

Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Stay current with pedagogical trends, injury prevention, and ballet methodology.

Participate in faculty meetings, school performances, recruitment events, and outreach programs.

Collaborate with other faculty members and choreographers on interdisciplinary projects and productions.

Mentor students on career development, auditions, and further education opportunities.

Qualifications:

Extensive professional performance experience in classical ballet.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ?500.00 - ?800.00 per hour
