1. Lesson Planning and Curriculum Delivery
Design age-appropriate baking lessons and recipes for students from 5th to 10th grade.
Develop weekly lesson plans ensuring a balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice.
Introduce students to basic and intermediate baking techniques, kitchen safety, hygiene, and ingredient knowledge.
2. Classroom and Practical Session Management
Conduct engaging baking classes, demonstrations, and practice sessions.
Ensure all students actively participate and follow safety protocols during baking activities.
Maintain discipline and an encouraging environment in both theoretical and practical sessions.
3. Resource and Inventory Management
Plan and manage the inventory of ingredients, tools, and baking equipment.
Coordinate with the school administration for timely procurement of required supplies.
Ensure all baking tools and the kitchen area are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
4. Student Evaluation and Progress Tracking
Assess students' skills through practical tests, assignments, and regular feedback.
Maintain records of student performance and attendance.
Provide individual support to students who need extra help.
5. Skill Development and Innovation
Encourage students to experiment with recipes and develop creativity in baking.
Organize small bake sales, exhibitions, or competitions to showcase students' work.
Stay updated with current trends and techniques in baking to enrich class content.
6. Collaboration and Communication
Coordinate with other teachers and staff for interdisciplinary projects or events.
Communicate regularly with parents (if required) about students' progress and participation.
Attend relevant staff meetings and training sessions organized by the school.
7. Health, Safety, and Compliance
Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards during classes.
Educate students on safe use of ovens, mixers, and other kitchen equipment.
Report any accidents, hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
