A bakery sous chef, or pastry sous chef, is the second-in-command to the Executive Pastry Chef, responsible for overseeing the production of baked goods, managing kitchen staff, maintaining quality and sanitation standards, assisting with menu development, and controlling inventory and food costs. Key responsibilities include supervising pastry teams, ensuring the consistency and presentation of desserts and breads, managing supplies, and supporting special events.

Pay: ₹72,156.17 - ₹101,018.63 per month
