. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire bakery production process -- from recipe development to final presentation -- ensuring top quality, taste, and consistency in every product.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and execute a wide variety of bakery and pastry items including cakes, tarts, mousses, eclairs, croissants, cookies, and breads.
Develop new recipes and seasonal product lines to enhance the bakery's offerings.
Supervise and train junior bakers, pastry chefs, and assistants.
Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation across all baked goods.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in compliance with FSSAI or relevant regulations.
Manage ingredient inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with procurement for supplies.
Oversee baking schedules and production timelines to meet daily and bulk orders efficiently.
Collaborate with management for product pricing, menu updates, and promotional items.
Stay updated with current pastry trends, techniques, and international dessert concepts.
Requirements:
Professional certification or diploma in Bakery & Patisserie / Culinary Arts preferred.
Minimum
5-8 years of experience
in a reputed bakery, pastry kitchen, or hotel.
In-depth knowledge of classical and modern pastry techniques.
Strong creative flair with attention to detail and aesthetics.
Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
