Job Description

Responsibilities:

Prepare a wide range of baked goods including breads, cakes, cookies, pastries, and specialty desserts Design and test new recipes to innovate and improve our offerings Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation of all items Monitor ingredient stocks and place orders as needed to maintain inventory Ensure all baking equipment is cleaned, maintained, and used properly Follow food safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment Coordinate with front-of-house staff to meet customer expectations and order timelines Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff or helpers Manage portion control and minimize food waste

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar role Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, and decoration Familiarity with commercial baking equipment and food safety regulations Creativity and a passion for baking and dessert design Strong time-management and organizational skills Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Culinary or bakery certification is a plus
