Design and develop new pastry recipes and seasonal dessert menus.
Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation of pastry items.
Manage inventory, order ingredients, and ensure proper storage.
Oversee the pastry section's day-to-day operations, including prep work and execution.
Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques and standards.
Monitor and minimize waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry equipment, and ingredient combinations.
Creativity in recipe development and dessert presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
