Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, tarts, cookies, and other baked goods
Follow and develop standardized recipes and portion sizes
Decorate and present pastries and baked goods with artistic flair
Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and ingredient mixes
Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards are met
Assist in menu development for bakery and dessert offerings
Manage ingredient inventory, ordering, and storage
Maintain equipment in good working order and report maintenance needs
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet service timelines
Stay updated on industry trends and new baking techniques
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a kitchen, bakery, or pastry shop
Strong understanding of baking techniques and food safety regulations
Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and flavor
Ability to work early mornings, and during peak hours
Time management and organizational skills
Team player with a positive and professional attitude
