o Create unique baked goods based on client specifications
o Ensure that the kitchen is clean at all times and meets all local health code requirements
o Developing creative customized cakes and baked goods for banquets and weddings
o Maintain a stock of sample pastries that can be presented to people considering working with our business for their special event
o Meet with guests reserving banquet halls to discuss specific baking needs and any special requests
High school diploma/GED required (Culinary degree preferred)
5+ years' experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a banquet environment
Must be able to provide a portfolio of creative work for consideration
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Precise eye for detail
