The Bakery Chef is responsible for preparing and baking breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods while ensuring consistent quality, hygiene, and timely production. The role requires creativity, precision, and adherence to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of breads and desserts.
Assist the Senior Baker in daily kitchen operations.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored and available for production. Ensure presentation of finished items.
Manage schedules and meet requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the bakery area.
Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices as per the safety norms.
Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely
Work as part of a team to ensure timely and quality food service.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
Requirements:
Experience as a Bakery Chef or Baker.
Knowledge of baking techniques, dough preparation, and dessert finishing.
Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food hygiene, attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
