Role Overview

:

We are looking for a

creative and commercially-driven Bags Designer cum Merchandiser

to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to

design stylish and functional bags

(handbags, backpacks, wallets, etc.) while also managing the

product lifecycle

, from

sampling to production and client communication

.

Key Responsibilities

:

Designing

Create innovative and trend-driven bag designs (fashion, casual, formal, etc.) Develop tech packs with specifications, sketches, and material details Research market trends, color palettes, and new materials Coordinate with the sampling team to ensure design execution

Merchandising

Manage sampling timelines and approvals Coordinate with buyers, vendors, and internal teams Monitor production status, quality, and delivery timelines Handle cost negotiations and ensure profitable pricing Maintain product sheets, BOMs, and merchandising documentation

Requirements

:

2-5 years of experience in

bag design and merchandising

Strong understanding of

bag construction, materials, trims, and hardware

Proficient in

Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / CorelDRAW / CAD

Excellent communication and client coordination skills Experience in

export/domestic merchandising

is a plus Strong follow-up and organizational skills

Preferred Background

:

Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design / Accessories Design / Leather Goods Exposure to domestic and/or international buyer handling Passion for fashion and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
