BackOffice In charge / Operation Head

Responsibilities


Leadership & Supervision Lead and manage the entire Operations Team. Ensure smooth coordination among sub-teams handling Risk, RMS, Margins, Back Office, and Trade Settlement. Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and process improvement. Risk & Margin Management Monitor exchange margin utilization, exposure limits, and trading risk parameters. Implement strategies to reduce exchange penalties and interest burden. Ensure real-time checks on client exposure and timely communication on margin requirements. Back Office Operations Supervise daily trade settlement, fund & securities reconciliation, DP operations, and reporting. Ensure accuracy and timely processing of all back office activities with minimal error rates. Margin Trading Facility (MTF) Ensure robust process and documentation for MTF. Monitor client-wise exposure and ensure adherence to SEBI/Exchange guidelines. Regulatory Compliance & Audit Ensure 100% adherence to SEBI, NSE, BSE, MCX, NSDL norms. Coordinate with regulators for inspections, audits, and routine data submissions. Lead implementation of new operational compliance measures with minimal business disruption. Stakeholder Coordination Liaison with Exchanges for resolving operational queries or system changes. Work closely with Business Heads to ensure business operations are aligned and efficient. Provide MIS, dashboards, and insights to management for better decision-making. Process Improvement & Automation Identify and implement process enhancements to improve turnaround time and client experience. Promote automation and digital tools within operational workflow. Proactive Initiative Stay ahead in implementing regulatory circulars, alerts, and advisories. Drive proactive risk mitigation and compliance practices across teams.
