Job Description

We are looking for a

Backend Software Developer (3-5 years of experience)

with a strong technical foundation and hands-on expertise in

NoSQL (MongoDB)

and

SQL

databases. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable systems, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in an Agile environment. Knowledge of emerging technologies such as

Blockchain

,

AI

, and

Machine Learning

will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js, Python, or similar languages.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.

Manage and optimize NoSQL (MongoDB) and SQL databases for high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Design efficient database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies to meet application requirements.

Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues to ensure optimal uptime and responsiveness.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

BE / BTech / MCA in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience:

3-5 years of backend development experience with demonstrated proficiency in

Node.js

or

Python

, and

MongoDB/SQL

database management.

Desired Skills

Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on experience in building scalable, modular backend systems.

Expertise in RESTful API design and integration.

Proficiency with version control systems such as

Git

/

Bitbucket

.

Solid understanding of database architecture, optimization, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as

JIRA

.

Working knowledge of

AWS

or other cloud platforms for deployment and scaling.

Additional/Preferred Skills

Exposure to

Blockchain

concepts and backend integration.

Understanding of

Machine Learning

workflows and data pipelines.

Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of Frontend technologies such as React JS.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ?50,000.00 per month
