Backend Core Java Developer - Director- Software Engineering
We're seeking someone to join our Institutional Securities Technology team as a Backend Core Java Developer, in Prime Brokerage AND Institutional Equity team . The role involved in Development of real-time platform that requires fast calculations, efficient memory management and a highly scalable architecture. This role provides an exciting opportunity to motivated candidates to work in a fast-paced environment on varied projects from short term tactical enhancements to strategic initiatives that impact multiple firm systems and business groups. Candidates will be involved in all phases of SDLC such as requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing and supporting the application in production. Candidates will also be involved with ongoing technology support for the business users and queries.
In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.
This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:

• 3-5 Years of development in Java (Spring)
• Proficient in developing multi-threaded applications using Core Java, Spring
• Excellent problem solving skills & good communication skills
• Good knowledge of OO, data structures & algorithms
• Good understanding of RDBMS, Basic SQL, Data Analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Software, or related field of study

What you'll bring to the role:

• Scripting languages - Python
• Knowledge about Financial domain
• Prior knowledge of working in Agile model
• Aware of Cloud based technologies
