Backend Developer Intern

who is curious, motivated, and eager to grow by working on real products that impact thousands of students.

This is an

in-office internship

at our Gurgaon office. You'll work closely with our engineering and product teams, gain hands-on experience in backend development, and learn how modern, scalable systems are built.

Responsibilities

Assist in building and maintaining backend services using

Node.js and TypeScript

. Help design and implement simple

REST APIs

for our web and mobile applications. Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to fetch, store, and manage data. Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver complete features. Debug issues and contribute to performance improvements. Write clean, readable, and documented code.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of

Node.js

and JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with backend frameworks such as

Express.js

is a plus. Understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB). Comfortable with Git and version control basics. Eagerness to learn new tools, frameworks, and backend best practices. Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a team.

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

Exposure to

AWS

or other cloud services. Familiarity with API documentation tools (Swagger/Postman). Interest in DevOps or automation (CI/CD).
