Job Description

Growexx is seeking a

Backend Engineer (Node.js / NestJS / Go) with strong hands-on experience in Node.js, NestJS, and Go to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for one of its clients. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs, cloud-native architectures, and modern development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, NestJS, and Go. Migrate and refactor existing NestJS services to Go, ensuring scalability and performance. Deploy and support cloud-based microservices and backend components. Work with existing Node.js services to fix bugs, enhance functionality, and add new features. Apply best practices in software design patterns, code quality, and system architecture. Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery. Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure reliable and maintainable code. Utilize AWS services for scalable and efficient deployments.

Education and Experience

B Tech/B. E./MCA 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, focusing on Node.js, NestJS, and Go. Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend services. Strong understanding of TypeScript and modern backend frameworks. Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, or related services). Experience developing and maintaining GraphQL APIs. Familiarity with software design patterns, programming paradigms, and best practices for Node.js. Experience with cloud deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines. Solid problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Exposure to microservices architecture and serverless design. Knowledge of API Gateway, message queues, or event-driven systems.
