What You'll Build

Scalable

backend systems

for patients, doctors, therapy sessions, and clinical protocols

REST APIs

using

NestJS (TypeScript)

powering web and device integrations

Real-time EEG data pipelines

from medical devices (MQTT + background jobs) Secure

multi-role authentication systems

(patients, doctors, admins, finance) High-performance

databases and analytics layers

for time-series medical data Fault-tolerant background jobs for

EEG processing, reports, and automation

Your Day-to-Day

Design and ship backend features end-to-end Own APIs, database schemas, and core business logic Work closely with frontend, product, and clinical teams Review code, mentor teammates, and raise the engineering bar Debug production issues and improve system reliability

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

3-4 years of backend engineering experience Strong

TypeScript + Node.js

fundamentals Experience with

NestJS or Express.js

Solid understanding of

MongoDB and SQL databases

Hands-on experience building

production APIs

Comfortable with async systems and background jobs

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

Experience in healthcare, medtech, or regulated systems Real-time systems (MQTT, WebSockets) Redis, queues, caching strategies AWS or cloud infrastructure experience Event-driven or microservice architectures
