About the Role

Logicrest Technologies is looking for a

Backend Engineer

to design, build, and maintain

scalable backend systems and APIs

that power industrial AI and IoT platforms. This role focuses on developing

high-performance, reliable backend services

that connect AI models, sensor data, and frontend applications in real time.

You will work closely with

AI engineers, frontend developers, and IoT teams

to deliver production-grade systems for industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

production-ready backend services and REST APIs

Build and optimize

data pipelines

for real-time and batch sensor data processing Integrate backend systems with

AI/ML models and IoT data sources

Manage and maintain

cloud infrastructure

for backend services Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability Implement

security best practices

, including authentication, authorization, and data protection Write clean, testable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and contribute to backend architecture decisions Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Required Qualifications

Experience

3-4 years

of professional experience in

backend or server-side development

Proven experience building and maintaining

production APIs and backend systems

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in

Python

Experience with backend frameworks such as

FastAPI, Django, or Flask

Solid understanding of

REST API design and microservices architecture

Experience with

SQL and NoSQL databases

(PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar) Familiarity with

cloud platforms

(AWS or GCP) Experience with

Docker and containerized deployments

Proficiency with

Git

and CI/CD workflows Understanding of

asynchronous processing and background jobs

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with

message queues or streaming systems

(Kafka, RabbitMQ) Familiarity with

time-series databases

or high-frequency data systems Exposure to

IoT data handling or industrial systems

Knowledge of system monitoring and logging tools Experience working in

startup or high-growth environments
