Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Engineer with proven expertise in Java and ReactJS to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring strong backend development expertise, complemented by frontend skills, to build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. You will be responsible for designing and developing backend services, APIs, and database layers, while also contributing to frontend features using ReactJS. This role requires a collaborative problem solver who thrives in Agile environments and can deliver reliable, production-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and modern frontend technologies like ReactJS.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code aligned with best practices.
• Database & API Management:

• Design, manage, and optimize relational databases (SQL).
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external systems.
• System Optimization & Security:

• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security across applications.
• Proactively troubleshoot and debug issues in production and staging environments.
• Testing & Deployment:

• Implement unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to streamline code integration and deployment.
• Collaboration & Agile Practices:

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers in cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance where required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Backend Development:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with strong emphasis on Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases, database design, and query optimization.
• Frontend Development:

• Hands-on experience with ReactJS (or Angular), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Ability to contribute to frontend features and build seamless integrations with backend services.
• Software Engineering Practices:

• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub version control.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automation frameworks.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud environments.
• Problem Solving & Collaboration:

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in collaborative team settings.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (BE/BTech, MCA).
• Master's degree preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Java, ReactJS, or cloud technologies are an added advantage.
