About the Project:

We are developing a

mobile-based Employee Attendance & Payroll Management System

for an EPC (Engineering & Construction) company. The app allows employees to

check-in/out with GPS and selfies

, while automatically calculating

working hours, overtime, and wages.

We're looking for a

backend developer

who can build scalable, secure APIs and handle data processing for attendance and payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop RESTful APIs using

Node.js (Express)

or

FastAPI (Python)

Design and manage

PostgreSQL or MongoDB database

Handle

authentication, attendance logic, payroll calculation, and overtime tracking

Integrate with

React Native frontend

(API endpoints) Manage

AWS / Firebase

setup for storage and hosting Optimize backend for performance and data security

Requirements:

1-3 years of backend development experience Strong skills in

Node.js + Express

or FastAPI

+ DRF

Experience working with

PostgreSQL / MongoDB

Familiarity with

JWT, API versioning, and CRUD operations

Understanding of

AWS, Firebase, or Render

for deployment

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of

geo-location APIs

,

file uploads (S3)

, and

background jobs

Previous work on payroll or attendance systems Familiarity with

Docker / CI-CD pipelines
