Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Node.js Backend Developer

with strong experience in

PostgreSQL

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing server-side logic, creating efficient database queries, stored procedures, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable and robust backend services using

Node.js

. Design, implement, and optimize

PostgreSQL queries

, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Integrate front-end components with server-side logic. Ensure performance, security, and responsiveness of applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience with

Node.js

and its frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS). Proficiency in

PostgreSQL

, including query optimization, joins, indexing, and stored procedures. Experience in writing complex queries, functions, triggers, and procedures. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with frontend applications. Knowledge of version control systems (

Git

). Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with

ORMs

like Sequelize, TypeORM, or Prisma. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of containerization tools like Docker. Exposure to microservices architecture.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
