Role Overview

As a

Backend Developer

, you will be the core architect of our product development--responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining all backend systems, APIs, and databases. This role offers not just a job, but an opportunity to become a

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using

PHP Laravel

. Design and implement

RESTful APIs

for frontend and third-party integrations. Work with

MySQL/SQL databases

- writing queries, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity. Integrate with

payment gateways, APIs, and third-party services

. Ensure backend systems are

secure, scalable, and high-performing

. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues efficiently. Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver seamless, full-stack solutions. Maintain

technical hygiene, clean code practices, and version control (Git)

.

Requirements

2-3 years of proven experience

in backend development with

PHP Laravel

(Freshers not applicable). Strong knowledge of

PHP, Laravel, MySQL, SQL queries, database design

. Familiarity with

JavaScript/jQuery

for backend-related tasks. Basic knowledge of

Node.js

(microservices, API handling). Strong understanding of

MVC architecture and OOP concepts

. Knowledge of

API integration (REST, JSON, XML)

. Good understanding of

security practices (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection prevention)

. Experience with

server management (Apache/Nginx)

and deployment processes. Proficiency in

Git/GitHub, Composer, npm

. Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills. Appetite to work in a

healthcare startup

and take on challenges. Commitment to

quality of work, meeting deadlines, and proactive execution

.
