About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled

Back-End Developer

who can design, build, and maintain robust APIs and server-side applications to power scalable EdTech platforms. You'll collaborate closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to create efficient and secure systems that enhance our users' digital learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database schemas. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security. Implement RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments. Manage version control, code documentation, and deployment pipelines. Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Firebase) for backend hosting and data storage. Participate in system architecture design and technology stack discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum

1+ year of professional experience

in back-end development. Proficiency in

Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask)

or

Node.js

frameworks. Strong knowledge of

PostgreSQL

,

MySQL

, or

MongoDB

. Experience with

RESTful APIs

,

authentication systems (JWT/OAuth)

, and

server security

. Familiarity with

cloud deployment (AWS/Firebase)

and

CI/CD pipelines

. Good understanding of

Git

Docker

, and

containerized environments

. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

Experience with

ReactJS

or front-end frameworks for integration. Knowledge of

microservices architecture

API Gateway design

. Hands-on with

GraphQL

message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka)

. Exposure to

mobile app back-end integration
