About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled

Backend Developer (Laravel)

with strong expertise in building and maintaining scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with

Laravel Framework

,

CI/CD pipelines

, and working knowledge of

multiple databases including SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)

. The candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing backend services that power our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality backend applications using

Laravel PHP framework

. Build and optimize

RESTful APIs

and backend services for web and mobile applications. Implement

CI/CD pipelines

to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring. Work with

relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

and

non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)

for efficient data storage and retrieval. Collaborate with frontend developers, mobile developers, and product teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions. Ensure applications are

secure, scalable, and high performing

. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Monitor, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance and reliability. Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and maintain coding standards. Stay updated with emerging backend technologies, Laravel updates, and DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's degree

in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 2-4 years of experience in

backend development

with strong expertise in

Laravel PHP framework

. Experience in designing and implementing

RESTful APIs

. Hands-on experience with

CI/CD pipelines

(GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar). Strong experience with

databases

: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, etc.) Familiarity with

Docker / Kubernetes

and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. Understanding of

version control systems (Git)

. Good knowledge of

unit testing, integration testing, and debugging techniques

. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in

agile/scrum environments

. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have (Preferred):

Experience in

microservices architecture

. Knowledge of

GraphQL APIs

. Familiarity with

message queues

(RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.). Exposure to

DevOps tools and automation

. Contribution to

open-source projects

or strong GitHub portfolio.
