About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled

Backend Developer

with strong expertise in

Node.js

and deep hands-on experience with

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, building, and optimizing backend services that are secure, scalable, and cloud-native. You will play a key role in designing microservices, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring smooth deployment and monitoring of applications.

Key Responsibilities

? Design, develop, and maintain

microservices and APIs

using Node.js.

? Architect, deploy, and manage applications using

core GCP services

Compute & Serverless

: Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions

Storage & Databases

: Cloud SQL, Firestore/Datastore, BigQuery, Cloud Storage

?

Messaging & Streaming

: Pub/Sub, Dataflow (basic knowledge)

?

Networking & Security

: VPC, Load Balancers, IAM, Secret Manager

?

CI/CD & DevOps

: Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Cloud Monitoring/Logging

? Implement

secure authentication & authorization

(IAM, OAuth2, Firebase Auth, service accounts).

? Optimize

performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

of backend services.

? Build

resilient, fault-tolerant systems

with monitoring, logging, and alerting.

? Work closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

?

4-6 years

of backend development experience.

? Strong expertise in

Node.js, Express.js/NestJS

.

? Proven hands-on experience with

Google Cloud Platform

(must-have, not just exposure).

? Proficiency in

Cloud-native architectures

, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE).

? Strong knowledge of

SQL/NoSQL databases

(PostgreSQL, Firestore, BigQuery).

? Experience in designing

secure APIs

with OAuth2/JWT.

? Familiarity with

event-driven systems

and

Pub/Sub messaging

.

? Hands-on with

CI/CD pipelines

(Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).

? Strong debugging, monitoring, and performance optimization skills.

Nice to Have

? Experience with

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager)

.

? Knowledge of

GraphQL

.

? Exposure to

multi-cloud/hybrid environments

.

? Experience with

machine learning integrations

on GCP (Vertex AI, AI APIs).

Education

? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
