Job Summary

We are hiring a skilled

Backend Developer

with solid experience in backend technologies and

Apache Kafka

. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of building scalable, reliable backend systems. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on developing high-performance services and data-driven applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs. Implement and manage

Kafka-based

messaging systems for real-time data processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, QA, and DevOps. Optimize code and systems for performance, scalability, and reliability. Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning. Troubleshoot and debug production issues. Ensure code quality with unit tests and documentation.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of professional backend development experience. Proficient in one or more backend languages:

Java, Node.js, Python, or Go

. Hands-on experience with

Apache Kafka

(producers, consumers, topic configuration, performance tuning). Solid understanding of

REST APIs

, microservices, and event-driven architecture. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g.,

PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

). Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Docker. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes). Exposure to logging/monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
