Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Node.js Backend Developer

to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have at least

4 years of hands-on experience

building scalable backend systems using

Node.js

, and should be proficient in working with databases, APIs, and cloud-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using

Node.js

. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices. Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver high-quality products. Integrate third-party services and external APIs. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a timely manner. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed. Maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience

in backend development using

Node.js

. Strong understanding of

JavaScript

and asynchronous programming. Experience with frameworks such as

Express.js

,

NestJS

, or

Fastify.

Hands-on experience with

RESTful APIs

, and familiarity with

GraphQL

is a plus. Strong database knowledge:

MongoDB

,

MySQL

, or

PostgreSQL

. Experience with

authentication

,

authorisation

, and

security best practices.

Familiarity with

Docker

,

Kubernetes

, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Working knowledge of

cloud platforms

such as

AWS

GCP

Azure

. Proficient with

Git

and version control workflows. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
