Senior Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using

Node.js and MongoDB

. Design and implement

RESTful and GraphQL APIs

with a strong focus on performance and security. Write

complex MongoDB queries

and optimize database performance. Architect and implement

microservices-based

solutions. Work with

BUN

for high-performance backend applications. Manage deployments and cloud infrastructure on

AWS, GCP, or Azure

. Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls. Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing backend applications. Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other team members.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum

2 years of hands-on experience

in

Node.js

backend development. Strong expertise in

MongoDB

and deep understanding of

NoSQL database design principles

. Experience in

writing complex queries

and handling large datasets. Knowledge of

microservices architecture

and API gateway implementation. Hands-on experience with

BUN

and its advantages over Node.js. Proficiency in

cloud server deployment

on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with

Docker, Kubernetes

, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of software security best practices. Familiarity with message queues like

Redis

. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Entrepreneur attitude towards brand/product building.
