Position:

Backend Developer

Location:

Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the core backend platform using PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter) and MySQL.

Build and manage RESTful APIs to power mobile apps, dashboards, onboarding flows, and third-party integrations.

Optimize database queries, implement caching, and improve backend performance to handle large-scale traffic.

Support critical modules such as:

Automated website creation from business data

Domain name management and verification

Multi-language site deployment

In-app upgrades, subscription billing, and payment flows

Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to ensure seamless data exchange and great user experiences.

Implement and support internal tools for analytics, lead scoring, and performance reporting.

Ensure backend systems are secure, scalable, and well-documented.

Work with DevOps teams to manage deployments on the LEMP stack (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP).

Stay updated with the latest Laravel/CodeIgniter releases, PHP performance enhancements, and modern backend practices.

Requirements

Strong experience with PHP and Laravel framework (CodeIgniter experience also acceptable).

Hands-on with MySQL/PostgreSQL, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, cURL, and queue workers.

Proficiency in Linux server handling, Nginx configuration, and basic shell scripting.

Familiarity with deployment tools, Git workflows, and CI/CD setups.

Ability to debug and maintain large legacy codebases.

Strong problem-solving skills with an ownership mindset.

Bonus Points For:
