Working with Django and NodeJS, you will contribute to creating high-performance APIs and backend services that power our product ecosystem.This role provides hands-on exposure to backend architecture, collaboration with senior developers, and opportunities to work on impactful real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
API Development:
Assist in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices using Django REST Framework and NodeJS (Express.js).
Database Management:
Work on database schema design, query optimization, and data management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Performance Improvement:
Support performance monitoring, caching implementation (Redis), and backend optimization tasks.
Security Implementation:
Follow best practices for authentication, authorization, and application-level security.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to integrate features and troubleshoot issues.
Debugging & Troubleshooting:
Participate in identifying root causes and fixing issues in backend components.
Code Quality:
Follow coding standards, participate in code reviews, and write maintainable backend logic.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with backend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Qualifications
? Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in backend development using Django (Python) or NodeJS (Express.js).
? Good understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
? Basic familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB.
? Knowledge of authentication methods like JWT or OAuth is preferred.
? Experience with Git for version control.
? Understanding of asynchronous programming, caching, and performance optimization.
? Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, or testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest) is an added advantage.
? Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and adapt.
