As a

Backend Developer

, you will be responsible for analysing requirements, designing, developing and building platforms using Node.js services as a back-end technology. Collaborate with the larger technical team, including enterprise architects and other lead developers, to review technical approaches and designs.

Roles And Responsibilities:

You're a self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through from conception to completion. You will "own" features/tasks and are responsible for working with the team in scoping development and appropriate testing. Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend and product teams to translate user needs into technical solutions, ensuring a cohesive and smooth user experience. Create documentation for future reference and support using Confluence. Apply technical expertise to challenging development problems.

Key Requirements:

3+ years

of experience building enterprise-grade applications using

Node.js.

Experience with frontend development using

JavaScript

is a major plus. Should have experience building back-end API's using Node.js and

Express.js

. Experience with relational databases is mandatory, preferably using

PostgreSQL

or

MySQL

. Experience with cloud is a plus, preferably

AWS.

Proficiency in microservices is a plus.

Special Requirements:

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Functional knowledge in the Finance domain will be an added advantage. Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change. Ability to work and communicate clearly and efficiently with team members, with a strong command of English, both written and spoken. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving benchmarks.
