Senior Backend Developer

at

, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side systems that power our suite of innovative web and digital products. Specializing in

FastAPI

and

NodeJS

, you will build efficient APIs, architect backend systems, and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications. This role is ideal for someone who loves solving complex technical challenges, driving backend excellence, and mentoring a dynamic development team.

Key Responsibilities:

API Development:

Architect, develop, and maintain advanced

RESTful APIs and microservices

using

FastAPI

and

NodeJS (Express.js)

to support frontend applications, third-party integrations, and internal tools.

Database Management:

Design and optimize

database schemas

, write efficient queries, and ensure

data security and integrity

using databases such as

PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

.

Performance Optimization:

Proactively monitor and improve backend performance by implementing

caching (e.g., Redis)

, load balancing, and asynchronous task management for high scalability.

Security Implementation:

Enforce strong

authentication and authorization

mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2), data encryption, and other

security best practices

to safeguard applications and comply with standards.

Collaboration:

Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration, align with business goals, and solve complex system-level challenges.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

Lead debugging efforts, perform

root cause analysis

, and deliver timely fixes for production issues while maintaining application reliability.

Code Quality & Mentorship:

Conduct

code reviews

, uphold coding standards, and mentor junior developers to foster technical growth and maintain clean, maintainable codebases.

Technical Leadership:

Contribute to

architecture decisions

, evaluate tools and frameworks, and drive

backend best practices

to enhance overall development efficiency and performance.

Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Minimum

3+ years of hands-on experience

in

FastAPI

and

NodeJS

, with a proven track record of building

scalable RESTful APIs and microservices

.

Database Skills:

Deep understanding of

SQL and NoSQL databases

(PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.

API Development Mastery:

Strong grasp of

RESTful API principles

, schema validation (e.g., Pydantic), and API versioning. Experience with

GraphQL

is a plus.

Security & Authentication:

Expertise in

JWT/OAuth2

, API security, and data protection strategies including encryption, secure headers, and rate limiting.

Version Control:

Proficiency with

Git

, including branching, pull requests, and collaboration in multi-developer environments.

Problem Solving:

Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive approach to

troubleshooting, scalability, and system performance optimization

Scalability Tools:

Experience with

Testing & Quality Assurance:
