Work Model: Hybrid Description Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules\' firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements. Requirements Must Have - . Java/Python . Hands-on experience of development with Cloud Native Services in AWS and SOA. Experience with instrumentation and monitoring the services to ensure the application is behaving as expected . Experience with CI/CD pipelines . Hands-on experience with IaC (Infrastructure as code) (See note below) . Experience in Agile development . Willingness to work in a classical DevOps model where the development team is responsible to deploy and support/maintain the services/UI that they develop NOTE : There are 4 positions for Humanetics (2 for Backend Engineer, 1 for Frontend engineer and 1 for Full stack engineer). Minimum 1 of these 4 MUST have hands-on experience with IaC and the other 3 MUST be ready to quickly learn and work on IaC. Education and/or Experience: . Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, engineering, or other related discipline required . 5 - 9 years of professional experience in software development, with experience in one or more areas: o Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as: Java, Python(preferred) o Experience in fully automated CI/CD concerns (IaC, quality, testing, etc) o Understanding of micro-service/API development o Understanding of various API protocols (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc) o Understanding of serverless development . Proficiency (one or more years) in designing, developing and deploying cloud based solution using AWS or Azure Preferences Java , aws, python Job Responsibilities Role Responsibilities: Responsible for analysis, design, development, deployment and operation of cloud software to protect life in motion. Client follows a classical DevOps model where the development team is responsible to deploy and support/maintain the services/UI that they develop. Due to this, everyone mustbe willing to learn and workwith the DevOps (including IaC) approach. Skills and Experience . Deep knowledge of at least one modern programming language (Java and/or Python preferred) . Expertise in service-oriented architectures ideally, you\'ve developed APIs for both internal and external-facing services . You\'re obsessed with performance, and have experience with instrumentation and monitoring services to ensure the application is behaving as expected . You have a basic knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design . Successful delivery of an application from design to market . Experience incremental delivery of enterprise systems with CI/CD . Understanding of micro-service development . Understanding of web service development . Knowledge of multi-tier architectures across multiple technology stacks .net, Java, J2EE, web servers, caching, application servers, RDBMS/NoSQL: Postgres, Dynamo DB . Experience with data processing technologies such as Kafka/Kinesis, Spark, Storm . Ability to define, design and deliver a distributed automation platform for compute, storage, database, queuing and other infrastructure Critical Competencies: .
