Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing systems. Assist in the implementation of security and data protection measures. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting them for architectural review.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of Golang as the server-side language, Knowing Python and its backend framework is a plus. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. Basic knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Understanding of Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD is a plus. Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills.
