About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled

Backend Developer

to join our dynamic product engineering team at a leading

digital media organization

The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, efficient code and enjoys solving complex problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance backend systems. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices. Design and build

RESTful APIs

, data models, and microservices for large-scale distributed applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality releases. Troubleshoot and debug production issues effectively. Mentor junior developers and participate in peer code reviews. Ensure timely and frequent delivery of features aligned with business priorities.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong programming skills in Python and Django.

Hands-on experience with

SQL

and

NoSQL databases

(MySQL, MongoDB, Postgres). Proficiency in

HTML5

REST APIs

,

Celery

,

Redis

, and

Microservices architecture

. Exposure to

cloud platforms

- GCP or AWS. Familiarity with

XML, XPath

, and distributed systems. Experience working in

product development environments. Excellent

new technologies quickly.

Good to Have

Working knowledge of

Java, ReactJS, or NextJS
