About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled and passionate Backend Developer to join our fast-growing tech team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel) and Node.js, and be capable of building robust, scalable APIs and backend systems. You'll start working remotely, with the possibility of transitioning to our Gurgaon office as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs using Laravel and Node.js Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to define and deliver new features Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance Manage database design, schema changes, and data migration (MySQL/MongoDB) Implement security best practices and scalable backend architecture
Must-Have Skills:

Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework Solid experience with Node.jsand Express.js Understanding of REST APIs, OAuth/JWT authentication, and middleware logic Experience with MySQL and/or MongoDB Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git Ability to write reusable and well-documented code
Good to Have:

Experience with third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.) Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Firebase, or DigitalOcean Knowledge of server deployment (Linux, Nginx/Apache)
