Job Description

1. Design and develop the frontend and backend architecture of the website while collaborating with the UX head and Product Manager. 2. Participate in design & software architecture discussions withtheProduct Manager(PM)and senior management. 3. Work closely with the PM to ensure milestones are met,reporting on daily progress,expected deliverables. 4. Work closely with the head of product to ensure SEO related points are checked off with the product and constant incremental improvement is done in ranking on search engines. 5. Set and ensure targets are achieved in terms of upgrading various technologies used to build the product. 6. Implement unit testing and dev-ops practices. 7. Ensure software code documentation is done for all new development in Semikart. 8. Take ownership of the security aspect of the product as we scale. Desired Qualifications/Skills : 1. Ability to write clean backend code in keeping with best practices. 2. Ability to take control of infrastructure requirements including server setups, DNS,Hosting,SSL Installation etc. 3. Highly experienced with Backend tools and technology including but not limited to Java,J2EE and JavaScript,spring and hibernate framework. 4. Experience building rest API or consuming the rest APIs and integrating APIs from multiple sources. 5. Experience in working with databases such as SQL,MongoDB or any other NOSQLdatabases. 6. Sound knowledge in HTML,CSS,TypeScript,and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap,Tailwind. 7. Hands on experience in development tools including Maven. 8. Familiar with JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React. 9. Working knowledge of databases, data structure and file extensions. 10. Past experience working on cyber security of an application with setup of firewalls and so on. 11. Experience working with GIT and Bitbucket Git lab or any version control tool. 12. Excellent communication ability,good problem-solving skills,and attention to detail. 13. E-commerce experience on an open-source platform such as Broadleaf will be a plus.
