Job Description

We are searching for a talented Senior Backend Commerce Developer to join our team to help rebuild an existing Optimizely B2B website into a modern headless commerce solution, developing robust backend APIs, middleware, and integrations for our clients. In this role, you will work primarily on backend systems powering headless commerce applications, leveraging Azure Functions, Service Bus Queues, Event Grid, and related middleware. You'll also be developing and integrating APIs with Salesforce, Databricks, Oracle ERP/OMS, and commerce platforms, along with supporting GraphQL endpoints.. Candidates should be highly collaborative and motivated to grow their knowledge and expertise.

As a Senior Developer you will join projects that implement backend features leveraging Optimizely Headless Commerce and CMS. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Design and develop backend APIs and services supporting headless Optimizely B2B Commerce Build cloud-native integrations leveraging Azure Functions, Service Bus Queues, Event Grid, and other middleware tools Integrate backend services with enterprise platforms, including Salesforce, Databricks, and Oracle ERP/OMS Implement and support GraphQL endpoints for headless and commerce functionality Collaborate with frontend and solution teams to define data contracts and integration patterns Ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure backend code Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain cloud-based commerce solutions Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and quality assurance

Several years of experience developing backend APIs for enterprise applications Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid Experience building middleware and integrations between commerce platforms and enterprise systems Familiarity with GraphQL endpoints and data layer development Strong skills integrating with Salesforce, Databricks, Oracle ERP/OMS, or similar Familiarity with Optimizely B2B Commerce or other enterprise commerce platforms Solid understanding of secure, reliable cloud programming patterns Collaborative attitude and ability to work in cross-functional teams
