Key Responsibilities:
Transportation Coordination:
Monitor and track fleet movement and trip schedules.
Coordinate with drivers, transport vendors, and dispatch teams.
Maintain records of vehicle usage, fuel, and maintenance.
Documentation & Data Management:
Prepare and maintain transport-related documentation such as LR (Lorry Receipts), PODs, invoices, delivery challans, etc.
Update transport and logistics data in ERP/Excel systems.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management.
Multitasking & Administrative Support:
Handle inbound and outbound communication (email/calls) with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Assist in inventory and warehouse coordination when required.
Manage schedules, reports, and assist in compliance tasks.
Issue Resolution:
Assist in resolving transport-related issues such as delays, route mismatches, or document discrepancies.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience (1+ years) in a transportation/logistics back-office role.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, Word) and basic ERP tools.
Familiarity with transport documentation and operations workflow.
Good communication skills - written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
