About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Back Office Executive to manage accounting, billing, salary processing, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should be organised, proficient in basic finance operations, and capable of supporting day-to-day business activities efficiently.
Experience:
0 to 2 years
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting and billing operations.
Handle salary processing and maintain employee payroll records.
Track and manage employee expenses and reimbursement claims.
Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, and payment records.
Support vendor management -- including payment follow-ups and reconciliations.
Assist with bank reconciliations, petty cash handling, and expense entries.
Maintain accurate records of business transactions and documents.
Coordinate administrative tasks like procurement, office maintenance, and logistics.
Support management reporting by preparing summaries of financial and operational data.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
0-2 years of experience in accounting, billing, or administrative roles.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting tools like Tally / Miracle (as applicable).
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have:
Experience in a SaaS or technology company environment.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
Familiarity with expense management and payroll tools.
