Enter data from source documents into prescribed databases, spreadsheets, or systems accurately and within time limits.
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output.
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform regular backups.
Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
Scan and organize physical documents and ensure digital copies are stored appropriately.
Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
Update existing data as needed.
Communicate with supervisors or other departments to resolve data inconsistencies or obtain missing information.
Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documentation as required.
Ensure data integrity and maintain organized records for audit purposes.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk, data entry officer, or related role.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), data entry software, and office equipment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with databases and data analysis tools.
Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures.
Knowledge of data protection laws and practices.
